He was predeceased by: his parents, Kearnie Patrick and Erma Jean Patrick (Conley); his wife Nancy A. Cogar; his son Dallas "DJ" Patrick; and his brother Paul Patrick.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, David Fisher (Megan) of Tiffin, Janette Damron of Fremont and Sharon Fisher of Clyde; and his siblings, Noel Patrick (Mary Frances) of Port Clinton and Mary Lou Weiker (John) of Clyde. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
