With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Effie Elizabeth Cole of Tiffin, Ohio, who passed away on March 14, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ziegler and Frances Ziegler (Jeremy); her husband Marlin Cole; and her children, Ardella Waldbauer, Arlene Songer and Rodney Cole.
She is survived by: her sisters, Pat and Dorothy; her children-in-law, William Waldbauer of Tiffin, Herbert Songer of Galion and Kathleen Cole of Crestline; her grandchildren, Matthew Songer (Angie), Michael Songer (Casey), Kendra Vernon (Brett), Nicole McNulty, Tyler Waldbauer (Amanda), Amy Dixon, Collette Davis (Mark), Mark Cole and Heather Belden (Brian); her great grandchildren, Megan, Claire, Brooke, Faith, Austin, Molly, Blake, Ashley, Allison, Alaina, Aleigha, Daniel, Nora, Macie, Audrey, James, Cole, Lauren, Owen, Meghan and Elizabeth; and her close friends, Jan Frazee and Teresa Hess.
