Hazel Ferguson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Ferguson of Tiffin, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel Ferguson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlin Ellis and Frances Ellis (Hickerson); her children, Debra Tompkins and Thomas Resor; her son-in-law Doug Atkins; her brother Alton "Buddy" Ellis; her granddaughters, Tessa Lundy, Carissa Carter and Katelynn Carson; and her stepson Reuben Guilkey.
She is survived by: her significant other Karl "Woody" Guilkey of Tiffin; her children, Pennie Atkins of Jackson, MI, Timothy Resor of Jackson, MI, Tami Bell (Joe) of Tiffin, Terry Ferguson (Bryan Carson) of Tiffin, John Platte of Westphalia, MI, Teresa Ferguson (Tony Carter) of Tiffin and Trampas Ferguson of Cleveland; her brother Mickey L. Ellis; and her great grandchild Rae-Ann Cornett. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the VFW.
Memorial contributions made to the family go towards Hazel's final arrangements and the Shriners Children's Hospital of Chicago.
