We announce the death of James John Mira (Tiffin, Ohio), born in Bellevue, Ohio, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 65. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Mira and Carol Mira (Miller); his father-in-law Norbert Scherger (Leora); his siblings-in-law, Richard Zacharias and Linda Main; and his grandson Alex Runion.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Scherger Mira (Schroeder); his daughters, Lindsay Mira (Sam Reece) of Dublin, OH and Brooke Runion (Seth) of Fremont, OH; his grandchildren, Raelynn, Tristan and Addie; and his pet Gus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter or American Legion Department of Ohio.
