James touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While James’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Charles and Marguerite Ruth Ruess (Boehler); his wife Jeannette Wing; and his sisters, Marlene Schwartz and Beverly Wott.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Ruess (Patricia) of Newark, Sharon Ruess (Wayne Imars) of Ashland and Roxanne Manuel (John) of Cary; his sister Ruth Ann Myers of Boykins, Virginia; and his brother-in-law Richard Wing (Donna) of Riverside, California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church in Tiffin.
