He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Huffman and Ilene Huffman (Tabor); his daughter Jennifer Lynn Huffman; and his brother Terry Huffman. He is survived by: his wife Diana Huffman (Frasure); his children, Nicole Mehling (Dan) of Tiffin, Jamie Huffman of Tiffin and Heather Harris of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Cowan Mehling, Mackenna Vanover, Dakoda Harris, Brennan Mehling and Austin Harris; his sisters, Marge Dotson of Columbus and Stella Brown-Lepley (Guy) of Bryan, Ohio; and his pet Luna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
