He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Granata and Rose Granata (Santoro); and his brothers, Anthony "Nini" Granata, Gordon Granata, Charles Granata and Salvatore Granata.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Granata of Tiffin; and his children, John C. Granata (Karen) of Tiffin, Thomas A. Granata (Cindy) of Springboro, Christopher J. Granata of Tiffin, Michael V. Granata (Sandra) of Charleston, WV, Joseph E. Granata (Paula) of Tiffin and Andrea D. Carroll (John) of Tiffin. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory (236 S Washington St, Tiffin, OH 44883). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (85 S Sandusky St, Tiffin, OH 44883).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Francis Home or to Calvert Catholic Schools.
