Michael Burd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 80, Michael Burd of Tiffin, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Burd to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Burd and Helen Bernice Burd (Scherger); and his brother Steven Burd. He is survived by: his wife Irene Burd of Tiffin; his children, Brett Burd (Michelle) of Republic and Michelle Collene (Shawn) of Tiffin; his brothers, Robert Burd, II (Nancy) of Milford, DE, Gerald Burd (Patricia) of New Braunfels, TX and David Burd of Fremont; his sister-in-law Julie Burd of Tucson; his grandchildren, Grant Burd, Spencer Burd, Chance Collene and Elsyann Collene; and his stepgrandchildren, Cheyenne Love, Dallas Neff and Bailey Dillinger. He is also survived by 10 step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory (236 S Washington St, Tiffin, OH 44883). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (36 Melmore St, Tiffin, OH 44883).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, a local Veteran's organization or to a charity of the donor's choice.
