He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin E. Koch and Dorothy Koch (Smith); his wife Janet Koch (Haller); and his siblings, Edwin Koch Jr. and Bertha Ann Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Brubaker (Art) of Tiffin, Robin Jacobs (Ed) of Tiffin, Kevin Koch (Annette) of Tiffin and Cheri Giammo (Todd) of Colorado; his sister Marilyn Stelzer (Richard) of North Carolina; and his close friends, Bill Dryfuse, Stan Bour and Kay Craw. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
