Richard E. Winkler Obituary
We announce the death of Richard E. Winkler of Tiffin, Ohio, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 68. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Richard will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Richard will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Richard’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Winkler and Patricia Winkler (Ranker); and his sister Laura Winkler. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Esparza (Miguel Garcia) of Columbus and Brittany Garcia (Aguado) of Columbus; and his sisters, Shelly Winkler (Michael Remsberg) of Tiffin, Debra Smith of Bellevue and Sherie Hoerig (David) of Tiffin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
