We bid farewell to Rita Jean Scherger of Tiffin, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 6, 2025 at the age of 88. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph P. Seislove and Mary Dolores Seislove (Reinhart); her husband Joseph Arthur Scherger; and her brother Stephan Seislove. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Scherger (Pam) of Tiffin, Jeffrey Scherger (Dana) of Tiffin, Cynthia Schalk of Tiffin and Karen Pardi (Mark) of Tiffin; and her siblings, P. David Seislove (Phyllis) and Mary Beth Boyer (Nik) of Tiffin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory (214 S Monroe St, Tiffin, OH 44883). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (36 Melmore St, Tiffin, OH 44883).
