He was predeceased by: his mother Florence; his siblings, Paul Hatton, Carl Hatton, Martha Rawlings and Nancy Stubbs; and his father Andrew Smith (Celebrant).
He is survived by: his wife Dianna; his children, Christine Groeschen (Carl) of Wilmington, Jill Smith (Todd) of Tipp City, Karen Jess of Tipp City, Joe Hatton (Danielle) of Las Vegas and Brenda Groeschen (Rob) of Loveland; his great grandchildren, Molly Groeschen, Jackie Groeschen, Annie Groeschen, John Hatton, Nick Hatton (Paige), Brooke Wombold (Cam), Luke Terrell (Megan), Mindy Delver (Josh), Carlie Groeschen, Jacob Groeschen, Samantha Pyper (Gibson), Kayla Keyt (Matthew) and Ashley Flynn (Caleb); his pets, Weston, Everleigh, Skylar, Braylee, Reed, Emmett, Theo, Nash, Knox, Elizabeth, Madelyn, Ava and Alyssa; and also Linda Hagerman (Roger) of Centerville, Ohio.. He is also survived by his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
