He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Sevy and Nila Ruth Sevy (Hunt); his stepmother Pauline Sevy (Hash); and his in-laws, Ruben and Olive Jane Hinkle.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Sevy (Hinkle); his children, Jeannie Yeager (Steve) and Todd Sevy (Mona Payne); his grandsons, Nicholas Sevy, Christopher Sevy, Benjamin Yeager, William Yeager and Eric Sevy; his great grandchildren, Nate Sevy, Owen Sevy and Oaklynn Sevy; his sister Joyce Mers (Robert) of Greensboro, NC; and his friends, George, Julie Jones of Kansas, Dave, Connie Dexter of Tipp City, Gene and Mary Fleeman of Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Darrell asked that contributions be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
