George Adkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 87, George Adkins of Tipp City, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Adkins to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Linville and Edna Lee Adkins (Morris); his daughter Lana Sharp; his grandson Tyler Sharp; and his siblings, Clyde Adkins (Ruth), Oscar Adkins (Iona), Flora Chaffins (Clive), Jack Adkins (Eldean), Randy Adkins, David Adkins and Doug Adkins.
He is survived by: his wife Jenny Lee Adkins (Jones); his children, Lisa Vanchure (Tony) of Tipp City and Greg Adkins (Sarah) of Tipp City; his grandchildren, Georgia, Sam, Megan, Ashley and Chris; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Adkins. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home (284 N Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice or Miami County FOP Lodge 58.
