She was predeceased by: her father Donlow Smith, Jr.; and her grandparents, Stan and Jean Hall. She is survived by: her daughter Jasmine Weaver; her mother Irene Brower (Don); her sister Christy Dempsey (Jim); her nieces, Lauren Clack (Jerrod) and Emily Dempsey (Skyler Duncan); her great-nieces, Edyn Clack and Ellyson Clack; and her close friends, Sandie, Rhonda and Lori. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jasmine Weaver in order to set up a scholarship fund in honor of Melissa.
