With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Dobbs of Tipp City, Ohio, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dobbs and Alice Dobbs (Hesse); his daughter Heather Dobbs; his grandson Jonah Dobbs; his sister Pam Troy; and his niece Christine Laney.
He is survived by: his children, Bryon Dobbs (Bonnie), Aaron Dobbs (Brandy) and Rachel Darnell (Scott); his grandchildren, Britany Neer, Dara Straley (Chad), Kalene Neer, Amanda Dobbs, Aaron Dobbs II (Jordyn), Noah Dobbs (Kenzie), Daniel Dobbs, Miranda Dobbs, Madison Jarvis (Joey), Meghan Rhymer (Derek), Andrew Darnell and Emma Darnell; and his great grandchildren, Holden, Aurora, Brock, Peyton, Nahlia, Summer, Milo, Jay, Ellie, Easton and Lainey. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Life Church (3350 Benchwood Rd, Dayton, OH 45414). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
