He is survived by: his father Emmett Porter; his daughters, Debra Shelby (Robert) of Leesburg and Denise Hunter (Larry) of Tipp City, Ohio; his son-in-law Vince Franklin; and his grandchildren, Doug Trent (Joy), Dawn Lyttle, David Lyttle, Brian Wooddell (Katie), Andrew Wooddell (Stephanie), Daniel Trent (Lauren) and Casey Wooddell (Heidi). He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home (327 W Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Parish Cemetery (9419 National Rd, Brookville, OH 45309).
