He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Southers and Laura Southers (Tharp); his sister Faye; his brothers-in-law, Nick Dunaway and Curt Noble; his son-in-law Joe Fike; his great grandchild Ezra Hartke; and his stepgranddaughter Dianna Fike.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Southers (Noble) of Tipp City; his children, Deborah Fike of Tipp City, Denise Johnson (Barry) of Troy and Greg Southers (Susan) of Tipp City; his grandchildren, Courtney Hartke (Phil) of Tipp City, Robby Southers (Justin Livingston) of Columbus, Nicole Miller (Ben) of Beavercreek and Adam Southers (Kaitlin Darpel) of Kettering; his stepgranddaughter Sherry Thompson (Jay) of Troy; his great grandchildren, Isaac and Zeke Hartke; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jessie Potts, Brooke Thompson and Phillip Campbell Jr.; his sister-in-law Glenna Noble of Jackson; and his close friends, Jim Thompson of Greeneville Tennessee and David Thompson of New Carlisle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
