He was predeceased by: his father Paul Donald Thies. He is survived by: his mother Martha Kirkland (Spitzig); his daughter Jennifer Perrin of Noblesville, IN; and his siblings, Richard Thies (Debra) of Union and Constance Sowry (Rick) of Arcanum.
