It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Koons of Tipp City, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Iler and Elizabeth Iler (Mote); and her brother Marvin Iler. She is survived by: her husband Danny P. Koons; her sons, Richard Koons (Nancy) of Canal Winchester, Mark Koons (Nancy) of Rochester Hills, MI, David Koons (Kimberly) of Sarasota, FL and Aaron Koons (Jessica) of Pleasantville; and her siblings, Corrine Iler of Tipp City, Susan Iler of Tipp City and Don Iler (Kathy) of Seaman. She is also survived by 5 granchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
