She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bert and Helen Gardner (Weingarth); and her husband William Edward "Spike" Tharp. She is survived by: her children, Bert Tharp (Patty) of Tippecanoe and Vonda Hamilton of Uhrichsville; her brothers, Harvey Gardner and Richard Gardner; her grandchildren, Jacob Tharp, Caleb Tharp, Kristina Patterson (Jason), Megan Sambou (Momodou), Alex Hamilton (Taylor), Brianna Dewalt (Bobby), Samantha Sanders (James) and Emma Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Aisha, Mariama, Aminah, Ibrahim, Khadijah, Fatima Sambou, Parker, Karsyn, Emerson, Adley Hamilton, Bryer, Bailey Dewalt, Landen, James and Avery Sanders; her brothers, Donald, Clifford, John, Kenny and Glen Gardner; and her granddaughter-in-law Tia Tharp.
