We announce the death of Thomas Edward Wilcox of Tiro, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 86. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Wilcox and Lucille Wilcox (Barier); his wife Deanna Wilcox (Amstutz); and his brother Bob Wilcox (Bev). He is survived by: his children, Denise Cole (Jack McCloud) of Mansfield and Troy Wilcox (Christina) of Crestline, Ohio; his grandchildren, Nicole Bortel (Geoff), Patrick Wilcox, Haylee McCloud, Brian Cole, Ryan McCloud, Ashley McCloud, Allie Zickefoose, Teresa Smith, Samantha Smith and Nick Storms (Mackenzie); his great grandchildren, Henry, Benjamin, Walter, Brandon, Emily, Kenny and Myles; and his sister Joanne Johnson (Gary). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and other friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Tom's memory to Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church at P.O. Box 126, Tiro, OH 44887.
