With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan J. Ray (Toledo, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ray and Frances Ray (Hunsicker); his wife Marcia; his granddaughter Marielle; and his brother Ronald.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Joseph Ray, Jr., Jodi Dusa (Mark), Deanna Anderson (Daren) and Lanee Tillman (Eirik); his grandchildren, Megan, Marissa, Stephan (Emily), Kaden, Travis, Hunter and Gage; his great grandchildren, Paxton Alan, Sadie, Jared and Ellie; his brother Michael Ray; and his nephew David Ray (Angie).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home (3000 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43613). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Clement Catholic Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
