She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Rio and Amada Del Rio; her husband Ghías Eddin Kharsa; her daughter Merida "Mattie" Estrada; her grandson David Navarro; and her siblings, James "Jimmy" Del Rio, Ramona Trujillo and Betty Rose Lucio.

She is survived by: her children, Samuel Estrada, Rendi Estrada, Octavio Estrada Jr. (Virginia), Seti Navarro (David) and Yuri Gonzales (John); and her siblings, Mary "Cookie" Ortiz, Dina Del Rio (Rios) and Vincent. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
