He was predeceased by: his parents, Narciso Avalos and Juanita Avalos (Rodriguez); his wife Guadalupe Avalos; and his son Jerry Avalos. He is survived by: his children, Maria Ranker, Dennis Avalos and Jamie Avalos; his grandchildren, Aaron, Matthew Ranker, Mellanie, Monica, Jerry Avalos, Sierra Avalos and Megie Broski; and his siblings, Concepcion Hinojosa of Fremont, Nicolas Ray of Fremont and Celia Ramirez of Fremont. He is also survived by Eight loving great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory (900 North St, Fremont, OH 43420). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home and Crematory (900 North St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (709 Croghan St, Fremont, OH 43420).
