He is survived by: his wife Janet Schwartz; his children, Peter Douglas Nelson (Michelle Bartus Nelson) and Lesley Beth Nelson Smith (Mark Smith); and his grandchildren, Kirstin Williams Morrison (Matthew Morrison), Megan Williams Jeppe (Scott Jeppe), Douglas Arthur Nelson (Jessica Nelson) and Jeremy Michael Nelson (Angela Nelson). He is also survived by grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren.
