She was predeceased by: her parents, Elery Edward Eggert and Minnie Mildred Cornell. She is survived by: her husband Harry Harris; her sons, Thomas Roy Melcer and Timothy Edward Melcer; her stepchildren, Tammy and Troy Harris; her daughter Rona Kouwenhoven (Melcer); and her son-in-law William Kouwenhoven. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
