She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth (Paul Henritzy) and NJ; and her siblings, Dick, Dot, Peggy and Marianne.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Piehl (Dorothy), Michael Piehl (Jeri), Dave Piehl (Jane) and Diane Ley (Ron); and her brother Paul Wortman (Linda). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Aldersgate UMC or Faith Community Nurses and Health Ministry Association.
