It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benedict J. Tanicala Jr. (Toledo, Ohio), who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Tanicala Sr. and Mary Jane Tanicala; his son Craig Benedict Tanicala; and his sister Sandra San Socie. He is survived by: his son Christopher Tanicala; his grandsons, Christian and Jesse Tanicala; his sister Paulette Rice; and his sibling's children, Dennis Rice and KC Rice Bellflower.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Danny's Café Rossford (600 Dixie Hwy, Rossford, OH 43460).
