With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benjamin Bennett of Toledo, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Bennett and Yvonne Bennett; his siblings, Toni and Chuck; and his son-in-law Jay Fleischmann.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Amy Fleischmann, Erin Salazar (Jay), Kristen Fox (Steve), Lindsey Falls (Justin) and Adam Bennett (Jessica); his grandchildren, Kaylee (Skyler), Avery, Jaxon, Bella, Emma, Caleb, Sawyer, Henry, Lily, Oliver and Teddy; his great grandchild Atlas; his siblings, Mike, Marti (Don), John, Vonnie and Julie (Jim); and his brother-in-law Fred.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1842 Airport Hwy, Toledo, OH 43609).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Melanoma Foundation, in Ben's name.
