She was predeceased by: her husband John Henry Motley III; her son Van Lear Motley; her parents, Richard Colbert and Arie Colbert; and her siblings, Jack, Harold Colbert, Maude Boyd, Callie Elam, Vera Garmon, Bessie Riley, Gussie Robinson and Veronica Webb.
She is survived by: her children, Francine Evette Motley, John Henry Motley IV and Isa Nicole Wyatt (Demetrius); her godson Edward Colbert Jr.; her grandchildren, John Henry Motley V, Martina Faye Motley, Justin Rayshon Motley, Van-Nessa Lynn Motley, DaVon Joshua Motley and LaChe'Dominique McCall Motley; her siblings, Edward Colbert Sr. (Dorothy), Pearl Furr and Betty Jean Darrington; and her niece Heather Lynn Colbert. She is also survived by caregiver and nurse.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Praise Church (1632 N Cove Blvd, Toledo, OH 43606). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
