He was predeceased by: his father Terry Keel; and his sister Candy Lynch. He is survived by: his mother Cathy Keel (Provo); his children, Jessica Keel (Isaiah Jeakle), Jay Leasure, Emily Keel (Adam Latta), Brandon Keel, Marissa Keel, Nick Leasure, Brad Keel Jr. and Serena Ramirez; his brothers, Larry Keel (Bianca), Charles Keel and Ivan Keel; and his pet Capone.
