He was predeceased by: his father Eugene "Beanie" Niese. He is survived by: his siblings, Dawn Plakus (Michael) of Greensboro, NC, Bradley Niese (Amber) of Ottawa and Yvonne Cusac (Randy) of Ottawa; his stepmother Patricia Friese Niese (Gerschutz) of Leipsic; his nieces and nephews, Savanna, Autumn, Liberty Niese, Jayden, Alec and Patricia Cusac; his stepsister Jamie Kenley (John) of Springfield; and his nieces and nephews, Shelby Kenley and Dalton Kenley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be given to Pathways Counseling Center, Ottawa or Julia Browlee of Toledo (Brent's group home operator).
