He was predeceased by: his parents, Brice Edwin and Leona Pearl Barnes (Moran); his wife Shirley A Barnes; his siblings, Esther Campbell, Gerald and Robert Barnes; and his grandson Bryce Kramer.
He is survived by: his children, Bryce Barnes Jr. (Sonya) and Linda Shifflett (Mark); his grandchildren, Amanda Freyer (Brett), Kyle Kramer (Lindsey) and Katelyn Bius (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Grayson Freyer, Colson Kramer, Lucas Freyer, Tripp Kramer, Jett Kramer, Lacey Bius and Kollyns Kramer.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home (3453 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
