With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carlos Torres in Toledo, Ohio, born in Sinton, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesusa Herrera and George Torres; his wife Virginia Torres (Martinez); his son Corey Michael Torres; his grandsons, Rocky Conley, III and Domonic Torres; and his siblings, Rosie and George "Billy" Torres.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frank (Mary), Rudy Torres (Sharon), Viola, Linda, Marianne, Gracy, Diana and Enna; his children, Shannon Torres (Jose Cuellar), Shelly Torres (Rocky Conley II), Carrie Torres (Phillip Escamilla), Bryan Torres (Trisha) and Cliff Torres; his grandchildren, Corey Anthony, Antonio Ruiz, Santos, Rosalinda, Alonzo, Angelica, Cliff Rosendo, Ciarra, Mario, Alianna, Diego, Alyissana, Amaya Torres, Breanna, Isabella, Delicia Cuellar, Kalina, Rocky IV, Karter Conley, Marianna, Miguel, Armando Perez, Ariella, Adalina Escamilla, Antonio Ruiz Jr., Alex, Camilo, Elise Ruiz and Marcelo Garcia; and his nephew Chris Torres.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Castillo Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1757 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery (1502 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606).
