He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Vasquez (Martinez) and Rosalio J. Vasquez; his brother Jose Vasquez; and his siblings-in-law, Adelios Gwiner, Robert Gwiner and Mark Gwiner.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Nicholas Vasquez (Stephanie) and Gabrielle Pifko (Matt); his grandchildren, Richard Charles and JoEllen Grace; his siblings, Max (Lori), Jesus Vasquez (Carol), Juanita Vasquez, Kathy Leyman and Linda Mahoney; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Fisher, Ramona Gwiner and Michelle Vasquez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Memorial contributions in Carlos' name may be made to Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
