She is survived by: her husband Ronald Scharer; her children, Wayne Starrett (Beth), Cammy Pawlicki (Dave), Donny Scharer (Jackie), Judith Leidy and Bob Scharer (Janet); her grandchildren, David, Melissa, Alayna, Ben, Christine, Abby, Angela, Chance, Josh and Daniel; and her siblings, Dorothy, Bill, Charlie and Bob.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice or The Good Shepherd Animal Sanctuary, Neapolis, OH in Carol's memory.
