She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. King and Doris E. King; her husband Paul S. Powers; and her son-in-law Hays McKay, Jr. (Carol). She is survived by: her children, Mara Powers McKay of Opelika, Alabama, Beth Powers Barks (Allen) of Opelika, Alabama, Paul Powers, Jr. (Bo) of Opelika, Alabama, Gretchen Powers Hood (Kenneth) of Opelika, Alabama and Rory Powers; and her grandchildren, Hays McKay (Trey), Mary Carol Barks Howell (Chris), James Barks, Holland Powers Daniel (Taylor), Paul Powers (Tripp), Lindsey McKay Snellgrove (Quinton), Matthew Barks and Turner Powers. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
