She was predeceased by: her brothers, George (Whitson), Jimmy Whitson and Doug Whitson; and her parents, George Whitson and Loretta Whitson.
She is survived by: her children, Jim VanderVlucht (Shelly), Laura Keller (Jasen), Susan Johnson (Dennis), Joe VanderVlucht (Lisa) and Amy Travis (Troy); her grandchildren, Simon, Lily VanderVlucht, Emily (Nick), Scott, Jack, Henry Keller, Steven Brown (Kait), Ava, Hayden Fekete, Calen, Lindey VanderVlucht, Daniel, Joey, Sam Travis, Madison (Jeff), Jebadiah and Matthew Fekete; and her great grandchildren, Nori, Zalira Fekete, Jeffrey and Justin Brushaber.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to Hospice of Northweast Ohio. And her family would like to give heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful hospices staff who so kindly took care of Carol during her last months.
