In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Cheryl had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Cheryl may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Oden and Rosetta Oden; and her siblings, Bonnie Tyus and Raymond Dwight Oden. She is survived by: her siblings, Billy Oden (Mary), Gaston Oden (Loraine), Patricia Mays and Addie Haynes (Charles); her godmother Mary Byrd; and her brother-in-law Ricky Tyus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
