He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Eakin and Edna Eakin (Roach); his children, Marieda Ann and Cary; and his brothers, Charles, VanRay and Burl.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian (Lil); his son Michael Eakin (Shona); his sister Betty Weir; and his grandchildren, Brandon and Elizabeth Eakin.
