Cynthia Carsten Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Carsten (Toledo, Ohio), born in Monroe, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ellison and Helen Liparoto (Asher); and her brother Rocky Liparoto. She is survived by: her husband Don Carsten; and her children, Michael Willey (Cathy), Brad Willey (Shannon), Megan Marteney (Jason), Mike Carsten (Alicia), Heidi Hatch (Aaron) and Lynette Carsten. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Riverpoint United Methodist Church.
