He is survived by: his wife Kelley Brown Carpenter; his children, Shane Carpenter and Shanna Davis (Bryant); his stepdaughter Heather Cousino; his granddaughters, Monica Sullivan (Dalton), Raven Carpenter, Claire Boakye and Abigail Parsley; his stepgranddaughter Skylar Cousino; his great grandchildren, Addilyn, Owen Sullivan and Scarlet Neal; his sister Denise Ackerman (Kent); and his aunt Elaine Triplett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
