He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Drzewiecki and Sophie Drzewiecki (Kucharski); and his son Tony Drzewiecki. He is survived by: his wife Joan Drzewiecki (Hahn); and his children, Susan Freisheim (Hans), David Drzewiecki (Kathleen) and Norman Drzewiecki (Kathy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Little Flower Church in Dan's memory.

“So sorry to hear of Mr. Drzewiecki's passing. He was our next door neighbor when we Flahiff's (Diane, Carolyn, Dan and me- Jan) were growing up on Caroline. Mr. Drzewiecki (we always called adults by their last name back then!) was always kind to us and had a gentle nature. He grew prize winning roses in his backyard, they were certainly beautiful. My deep condolences to Sue, David, and Norman. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
