He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mattos-Planck; his children, Randy Planck, Heidi Planck, Heather Planck Urban and David Planck, Jr.; and his siblings, Donna Newton, Deb Johnson, Doug Planck and Dorothy Planck. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or The Kidney Foundation in David's memory.
