He was predeceased by: his grandfather Orville Poling; his mother Dorothy Mae Thompson (Roehrborn); and his grandparents, Dorothy Swartz, Bernice Poling, Gladys and Ben Thompson (Frank).
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Brian Rohr (Courtney) and Samantha Pietrykowski; his grandchildren, Jackson, Dexter, Emelia and Lennox; and his siblings, James Thompson Jr. (Rosal), Kimberly Spillman (Allen), Cheri Disher (Randy), Rebecca Thompson, Rachel Kufel (Gary), Daniel Thompson and Raelynn Simpson (Michael).
