She is survived by: her parents, Dr. Harold Welch and Lois Welch; her siblings, Laura Blanford (Ted), Harold, Sharon, John Paul (Kim) and Annie Babkiewicz (Michael); her children, Claudia, Simon, Owen, Thomas (Mya), Cecilia, Colin and Saul; and her siblings' children, Isla, Chelsea, Cyrus, Anointed, Hayden, Dylan, Nolan, Henry, Lewis, Mia, Emily, Felix and Cora.

She was a gifted talent and an absolute joy to teach and direct during her time at Ashland University. Her 'Peter' in Peter Pan and 'Cathy' in Whistle Down the Wind are etched forever in my memory and for any audience member who witnessed her performance in those productions.
