She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marshall and Ann Marshall (Farmer); her brother Danny; and her grandson Steven. She is survived by: her husband Butch Essing Jr.; her children, Butchie Essing III (Tiffany), Jay Essing (Jennifer) and Erin Essing (Shannon Risenburg); her grandchildren, Jake (Hannah) and Tori (Robbie); her great grandchildren, Owen and Oliver; and her siblings, Rebecca Briones and Jim Marshall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
