He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Murphy and Margaret Murphy (Richars); and his brothers, Tom, Harold, Bill and Skip.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Schuman); his children, Dennis Murphy Jr. (Nicole), Mike Murphy and Shannon Doyle (Todd); his grandchildren, Morgan, Abigail, Dennis III, Alek, Erin, Jack, Kaycee and Sam; his great grandchild William; and his siblings, Richard Murphy (Pat) and Ruthann Miller (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and Nephews.
