She was predeceased by: her parents, James Peterson and Alma Sherman Peterson; her husband Isaiah Moore; her son Thomas Patrick Moore; her stepdaughter Early Mixon; and her grandson Donnell L. Johnson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Ann Carroll of Columbus, Ohio, Charles Peterson of Brooklyn, Jennis Peterson of Brooklyn and Shepard Peterson of Brooklyn; her stepdaughter Delores Kelly; her grandchildren, Coresa Harris, Corey Harris and Cornell Harris; and her cousins, Zonia Sherman, Darnell Redman, Deborah Sherman-Hunter and Karen Sherman-Sorina. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, step-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel) (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614).
